"Glen Clyde House" was originally built as a private residence with convict labour and later licensed as a Coaching Inn by James Jackson in 1845 under the name "The Tasmanian Lass". Situated near Hamilton in the Derwent Valley and close to Hobart, this much-awarded venue provides not only first class accommodation, but also the opportunity to purchase some of the finest craft items that Tasmania has to offer.
