Mathom Farm Cottage is a private, fully equipped three-bedroom farm cottage, located in the centre of the north west coast of Tasmania. It's in the perfect location to be used as a base for visiting coastal and inland venues such as Cradle Mountain, Stanley, The Nut, and Table Cape. If you plan to tour the island, it's the ideal accommodation stop after disembarking from the ferry. While staying in the cottage you can travel the "Caves to Canyon" tourist route enjoying the spectacular Leven Canyon, impressive Gunns Plains caves, Preston Falls and other attractions that are within a few kilometres. Within sight of the farm is the Leven Valley Vineyard producing award-winning Pinot and Chardonnay wines and hosting a gallery of work produced by local artists.

There's plenty to do and see on the farm. You can get involved in farm activities. Picnic on the riverbank and walk the 2km of river frontage under the cool, green canopy of the willows, view our environmental work, bushwalk our 10ha of rainforest, fish for trout and blackfish, watch the platypus, or simply relax in the cottage garden.
