During busy times Mathom Farm has offered employment to backpackers who are experienced in general farm work.

Mark being a metalworker, was especially welcome as additions were scheduled for the dairy and although Celeste's Bachelor of Psychology wasn't used to counsel the goats, she showed her willingness to work was worth a whole lot more to us!.

Unfortunately now that we no longer offer cottage accommodation, we have stopped offering work in exchange for a place to stay.

This doesn't mean that backpackers will not be employed on the farm. Email us and let us know when you will be here and if work is available we will offer it to you.
